Hey WA, here are all the On-Page SEO tactics I use to help tell Google what my site is about! Remember you can always PM me or make a forum thread to ask any questions. I swear one day I will get comments working on here – maybe time for a new theme.

On Page SEO Checklist

Keyword in:

  • <Title> Tag
  • <H1> Tag
  • <Meta Description> Tag
  • <Meta Keywords> Tag
  • <img atl=”"> Tag
  • Image File Name
  • Bold, Italic, Underlined  at least once throughout article
  • In the anchor text linking to related Authority Site (ie. Wikipedia)
  • <H2> and <H3> tags
  • 500+ Word Articles
  • Keyword Density of 1.5% no more than 4% – I personally aim for 2% (Not On Slides)
  • Internal Linking – Link to main page in every article and 2-3 other articles with the anchor text of page you are linking to
